I was walking around Rodeo Drive because I had like 9 hours to waste before going back to History Day. My mum decided to stop off at Brooks Brothers because she love preppy clothing. I saw these pants and they're just too funny. They were made of seersucker with little palm trees. What type of man would wear these pants really? Off of the East Coast, is it even considered ok to wear this? I mean in public, is it ok to wear? If you want to see more of these odd pants click here.

Oh Golly
I have been absolutely obsessed with Nickasaur for awhile. Andrew McMahon and him are probably my two favorite musicians ever! Here's something about Nickasaur that I absolutely adore, I love the way he dresses. I think it's amazing how he layers clothing and puts things together. I mean really, in California, isn't it a bit hot to wear 3-4 layers a day? It doesn't matter for Nickasaur though because he's just too cool to let weather get in the way of how he dresses. Anyways, I tried layering like him...It didn't turn out too wonderful because it took me too long to dress out for PE. Anyways, what do you think of the way he dresses?

Ear Muffs for Rebecca
I had originally imagined something more Gothic Lolita for Rebecca, but I couldn't find a good image. I found one, which was much like this only the pink parts on the bunny were black and there was white lace with black ribbons on the head part. For some reason, my computer refused to let me view it! Instead, I had to search for less extravagant ear muffs for Rebecca. Maybe the reason I was unable to view the extravagant ear muffs was because they were trying to keep something from me. Maybe, my friends and I weren't meant to see those types of things. I just don't know...
If you know Rebecca, do you this was a good choice?

My Side of History Day
I did History Day this year with this guy and my good friend, Sophie. This is my side of the story from the very beginning of the project. Two of the guys in my group will have to be given false names because all did not end well with them. At the beginning of the school year, I had one and only one goal and reason for doing History Day. I was hoping to receive enough extra credit to have the highest grade in my History class, to be above everyone else on the grade list. A nerdy goal, but a goal that pushed me to the very end. Our group started like this, Sophie and I had PE together and both of us were running to the History Informational Meeting that day together. Sophie asked me if I wanted to do the project with her, Boy1, and Boy 2. I said yes. I decided Sophie had done History Day the year before and that Boy 1 had been so good last year for History Day, that he was supposed to go to state! Boy 2, I was fairly hesitant about because I knew he had slacked in Science class last year, but since Sophie and Boy 1 approved, I figured he must be ok. Now with those people in my group, I figured I would have an extremely easy ride, right? The early part of History Day was all laughs and fun, until we had to kick Boy 2 out because he wasn't working at all. He left fairly peacefully, but he still holds a huge grudge against us. Sophie, Boy 1, and I made it to County easily. This is where all the problems started! It turned out Boy 1 hadn't done any work on his last History Day project, but that his partner had done most of it! But then something worse happened, he messed up on our Annotated Bibliography horribly and while Sophie and I were working very hard last minute to fix it, he was talking and kissing up to someone else. And when I say last minute, I mean 20 minutes before we were supposed to perform! Here's the problem, Boy 1 would screw up something, blame it on Sophie and me, have Sophie and me fix it, and then he would take all the credit! The nerve of him, I must say! Anyways, after wards the 3 of us argued a lot and got in many fights! Boy 1 spread rumors about us and Sophie and I said things about him. I''m not going to deny the fact that I have said rude things about him because I hate it when Boy 1 denies what he has said about us. Here's the problem, I did most of the Annotated Bibliography and I worked my butt off for it. I also came up with many of the ideas for the basis of the script. Sophie elaborated on the founding ideas I came up with and wrote much of the script. She also helped me with the Annotated Bibliography! Boy 1 didn't help as much as we would've liked, but he took a lot of the credit. I read over 30 books about The Beatles and I have learned a lot about them. I interviewed many people about The Beatles and such. In the end, History Day turned out to last a lot longer than I had ever thought and I worked hard for no reason because we got rejected. There's something about our project though that I think is very wonderful. It made people happy and it reminded them of their childhood. That, in itself, is good enough for me.
