It's Easy Being Green!

Despite Kermit's song,"It's Not Easy Being Green", I believe it is easy being green. The tiniest steps can amount to something eventually. Today, I will be showing you something easy that prevents animals from choking to death. You need the rings that keep soda cans or bottles together! (Example of the rings above! ^^)
Then you take a pair of scissors and the rings.
You cut a slit in each ring.
Then you cut the former ring thing-y in half. So you are left with no holes for animals to swim through. If there are any holes left, cut a slit through them. Then toss them in the recycle garbage can. (Example of finished project up above! ^^) What do you do with the cans after wards? You drink them and then recycle them! See? It is easy being green.

Simple, yet so thoughtful of the environment; thanks. If only more people were this in-tune with this kind of lifestyle. Not even just in the environment, but in going green on beauty products and health products (like how it affects our health).

@ the sopher gopher: These cans were super thick though! I don't think your scissors could've cut through them.

@ecrunner: I know right! If more people tried to be "green", I bet Global Warming would slow down. :) When I get products, I try to make sure the wrapping is biodegradable.
